Monday again. And it’s your 87th Monday in a row of starting your “diet” AGAIN

Soooo…. It’s Monday. And you are starting your “diet” again. For the 8th Monday since 2023 began.

Maybe it’s time that you got OFF the hamster wheel and tried a different approach.

As a nutrition coach and trainer, I see clients all the time try to starve themselves with fewer and fewer calories only to eventually get stuck, feel frustrated and give up.

These foods are staples while I coach individuals. Take a look and see why:

1️⃣ Foods high in PROTEIN - like chicken, Turkey, beef, eggs, cottage cheese keep you full.

2️⃣Foods high in FIBER - These foods - fruits and veggies keep you full; aid in digestion and contain important micronutrients that your body needs. (STOP believing those coaches who tell you FRUIT is bad.)

3️⃣ Foods rich in WATER- This also helps you feel full and these foods are lower in calories and therefore you can eat more. Who doesn’t love to eat more!??

4️⃣ Foods that are COMPLEX CARBOHYDRATES - carbs are not bad. Carbs are not bad. Repeat that daily. You need these as an energy source and glycogen as fuel.

5️⃣ High Volume foods - salad, leafy greens, carrots, are essential! In addition to the nutrients and helping you do the necessary things 💩. Eat these. Lol.

6️⃣ YES. Your favorite foods. Ok, so maybe not EVERY DAY. But if you are following the 90/10 rule, your favorite foods in moderation can be and should be included in your plan so you aren’t constantly waiting for MONDAY to get back on the hamster wheel!!!

Make your Monday great.

Drink your water.

Eat to live and fuel.

Do your squats.

Manifest greatness.

We got this.
